On Pause Menu

The menu at On Pause is structured to cater to various dining preferences throughout the day, offering a selection of breakfast items, sharing sides, and main courses. It is suitable for breakfast, light meals, and casual dining occasions.

Breakfast Items include options such as sourdough toast with fresh prawns and smashed avocado, truffle mushroom soup served with sourdough toast, and a brioche-based toast topped with roasted Portobello mushrooms, pistachio pesto, avocado, and sundried tomatoes. There are also traditional toasties featuring baked ham and cheese.

Sharing Sides provide a range of accompaniments suitable for sharing or as light bites. These include seaweed-seasoned shoestring fries, charred Brussels sprouts with a hot honey sauce (note: the sauce contains peanuts), fried boneless chicken karaage with chipotle mayo and smoked paprika, and tater tots served with tartar sauce.

Main Courses feature a variety of pasta dishes such as linguine with pistachio crusted Portobello mushrooms and housemade pesto, a child-friendly bolognese with minced beef and pork sausages in tomato sauce, and linguine with flower clams in a white wine and chili sauce. Additionally, a steak frites dish with a New Zealand striploin and chimichurri sauce is available.
